Terms of Service

1. About BlessChurch

BlessChurch provides software and online services designed to help churches manage members, teams, events, websites, giving, communications, and related ministry operations. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BlessChurch websites, applications, and services.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you create or manage an account on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf and to accept these Terms.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. You agree to provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Church Data

Your church retains ownership of the information and content it submits to BlessChurch. You grant BlessChurch the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that information for the purpose of providing and maintaining the service.

Churches are responsible for determining what information they collect, ensuring they have an appropriate basis or permission to collect it, and using that information in accordance with applicable laws and their own policies.

5. Giving and Stripe

BlessChurch may enable churches to accept donations through payment services provided by Stripe. Payments are processed through the participating church’s connected Stripe account. BlessChurch is not the recipient of donations made to a church through the platform.

The church is responsible for donation acknowledgments, tax receipts, refunds, donor communications, accounting, reporting, and compliance with laws applicable to its fundraising activities. BlessChurch does not determine whether a donation is tax deductible.

Stripe may require information about the church, organization, owners, representatives, or other authorized persons to verify and maintain a connected account. Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices apply to its services.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain BlessChurch features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing intervals, included features, and applicable limits are presented before purchase. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel a BlessChurch subscription through the available account controls. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise required by law or stated at the time of purchase, access to paid features continues through the end of the applicable paid billing period.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use BlessChurch to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, interfere with the operation of the service, send unlawful or abusive communications, or store or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

9. Church Websites and Content

Churches are responsible for the content they publish through BlessChurch, including text, images, media, event information, ministry information, contact information, external links, and custom domains.

10. Third-Party Services

BlessChurch may integrate with third-party providers. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. BlessChurch is not responsible for services operated independently by third parties.

11. Availability and Changes

We work to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued as the platform evolves.

12. Data and Backups

BlessChurch may maintain operational backups and safeguards as part of providing the service. Customers remain responsible for maintaining copies of information they consider critical when appropriate.

13. Intellectual Property

BlessChurch and its software, branding, interface, documentation, and original platform materials are owned by BlessChurch or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the BlessChurch platform to you.

14. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about BlessChurch, you permit us to use that feedback to improve our products and services without obligation to compensate you.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, churches, or third parties; investigate suspected abuse or security issues; comply with law; or address material violations of these Terms.

16. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BlessChurch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BlessChurch and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service. Any additional limitations applicable to your relationship with BlessChurch may be stated in an order, subscription, or other written agreement.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from your organization’s unlawful use of the service, content it publishes, or violation of the rights of another person or organization.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as BlessChurch evolves. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the service or by other reasonable means. The effective date shown above indicates the current version.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Specific dispute-resolution and venue provisions may be supplemented or revised as BlessChurch’s legal framework develops.
