Privacy Policy

Effective: September 15, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BlessChurch collects, uses, stores, and shares information when churches and individuals use our websites, applications, and services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account and organization information, including names, email addresses, church information, account roles, authentication information, subscription information, and communications with our support team.

We may also collect technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, browser and device information, logs, timestamps, and security-related activity.

3. Information Churches Store

Churches may use BlessChurch to store information about members, staff, volunteers, visitors, donors, events, ministries, teams, and other church activities. The church generally determines why this information is collected and how it is used. BlessChurch processes this information to provide the services requested by the church.

4. Giving and Payment Information

Giving and payment functionality may be provided through Stripe. Stripe may collect payment credentials, identity verification information, banking information, tax-related information, and other information required to provide its services. BlessChurch seeks to avoid collecting sensitive Stripe verification information when that information can be provided directly to Stripe.

BlessChurch may receive and store transaction-related information needed to operate Give features, such as donation amounts, dates, donor references, transaction identifiers, fund designations, status information, and related records.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain BlessChurch, authenticate users, operate church-management features, process subscription-related activity, support giving integrations, provide customer support, secure the platform, diagnose technical problems, improve the service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Service Providers

We may use trusted service providers to support hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, security, analytics, communications, and other operational functions. These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for BlessChurch.

7. Sale of Personal Information

BlessChurch does not sell personal information for monetary consideration as part of its ordinary business model.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BlessChurch may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and operation of the service. If we introduce optional advertising, tracking, or analytics technologies that require additional notice or consent, this policy and our practices may be updated accordingly.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and purpose for which it is processed.

11. Access, Correction, and Deletion

Account holders may be able to access or update certain information through BlessChurch. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or account closure may also be submitted through our Support page. When information is controlled by a church, individuals may need to contact that church directly.

12. Children and Minors

BlessChurch is not directed to children for the purpose of creating independent customer accounts. Churches that enter or manage information relating to minors are responsible for obtaining any permissions and following any legal requirements applicable to their collection and use of that information.

13. International Users

BlessChurch may be accessed from locations outside the United States. By using the service, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
